Overview

Improving the user's experience with wealth management specialists in a shared digital space

The Problem

Scotiabank offers a variety of wealth management services and has highly skilled advisors to assist their clients. The clients run their busy lives, they're looking for frictionless and convenient engagement with their advisors online.

After consulting with the team to ensure we're all on board, we moved onto developing a persona to help identify a design intervention that could potentially engage clients and advisors frictionlessly.

This user task flow follows the user being able to optimise communication pre-meeting and being able to take care of non-priority task digitally.

We approached to follow Scotiabank's brand guidelines in UI ideation, as it can ensure consistency in the visual representation of the bank. We believe it helps to build trust and recognition with users.

The improved app empowers clients to take control of their financial journey by streamlining the financial advising process, saving valuable time for both clients and advisors. It's a one-stop shop for all financial needs.

The portfolio page was integrated into the current digital solution of Scotiabank.

This was done so that the user has access to their portfolio in a separate space and still keeps all their banking needs on a single platform

Once you are on the Insights page, you recieve a list of insights that are delivered to you by your wealth management team.

They help you keep updated on your investments and financial goals without being too overwhelming.

Expanding on these Key Insights, the user can respond to these insights and respond to any actions suggested.

This helps maintain a transparent and streamlined communication so that there is no gap in information delivered and recieved

The user can feed in the meeting agenda to better prepare the advisor for the meeting so as to give more informed advice.
